How to Measure Your Dog’s Collar Size

  • Use a soft measuring tape or a piece of string.
  • Wrap it gently around the base of your dog’s neck, just above the shoulders.
  • Ensure the tape or string is snug but not tight.
  • Apply the “two-finger rule” — you should be able to fit two fingers between the tape and your dog’s neck.
  • If using string, mark where it meets and measure the length with a ruler.
  • Record the measurement and round up slightly for comfort.
